Gail Barsky - Phoenix Philanthropists Board MemberGail Barsky, a lawyer, author and entrepreneur has been serving charitable organizations for more than 15 years. Gail has helped numerous organizations by volunteering her time and raising money. Gail was honored for her work with the City of Hope by being named the #1 top individual fundraiser nationally.  Gail is passionate about serving the community and “all walks of life” as she feels extremely blessed and grateful. Gail is self-starter who worked full time while attending college and law school. Gail is the first member in her immediate family to graduate from college.

When Gail is not busy assisting a charitable organization, Gail is licensed and actively practices law in Arizona and Pennsylvania, by handling complex commercial litigation and personal injury cases for over 15 years. Gail is an experienced litigator who is an attorney at Resnick and Louis, which has 9 law offices in 6 different states including AZ, CA, CO, NV, NM, and UT. Gail Barsky has personally handled thousands of cases that have gone to jury verdict, resulting in outstanding results for her clients through hard work and determination.


Donnita Parker - Phoenix Philanthropists Board MemberDonnita Parker is an entrepreneur with over 25 years experience in the tourism industry. She co-founded a tourism based business that hosted visitors to Arizona from all over the world. In addition, Donnita is a mentor and coach who combines her tourism background with human potential, providing workshops and seminars in a nature-based setting.

Donnita studied with Mary Mannin Morrissey and Bob Proctor and was certified as a Life Success Consultant in 2009. An avid hiker and backpacker, she delights in walking the path less traveled and helping others find their own unique path.

As a volunteer in the community, Donnita enjoys serving at André House, Halo Animal Rescue, St. Mary’s Food Bank and other local non-profits.


Wayne Parker - Phoenix Philanthropists Board MemberWayne G. Parker has over 47 years of entrepreneurial and management experience. He served as the President of U-Haul Company/Minnesota, North and South Dakota, building U-Haul’s Midwest territory. He then transferred to Phoenix as Vice President of U-Haul International, overseeing expansion into Canada. Subsequently, Wayne built three successful companies in both manufacturing and tourism.

Wayne is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Marketing and Sales Administration. While at the University, Wayne was active in the music program and performed in both marching and jazz performance bands.

A long time marathon runner, Wayne has completed 32 marathons and ultra-marathons. His passions include encouraging others who are in training to run races and giving back to his community as a volunteer at many organizations including St. Mary’s Food Bank, Andre House and UMOM Shelter.
